Prelim; Finishes Second in Wood Tic Dan Salay Memorial!
7, 2022) The Tye Twarog Racing (TTR) team picked up their
eighth victory of the 2022 racing season on Friday night, August
5 during preliminary action for the 34th Annual 'Wood Tic Dan
Salay Memorial' at Merritt Speedway in Lake City, Michigan! Devin
Moran laid down the quickest lap in his group during the qualifying
session prior to securing a victory in his heat race. After starting
third on the grid in the 25-lap even feature event, Devin ran
second through much of the distance before pulling off a perfect
last lap pass for the win. The Dresden, Ohio ace earned a $1,500
paycheck for besting Chad Finley, Rusty Schlenk, Dona Marcoullier,
and Brandon Thirlby!
By virtue of Friday's even victory, Devin also earned the rights
to the outside of the front row for Saturday's 75-lap grand finale,
which boasted a whopping $34,000 winner's check. The popular driver
known as the "Mailman" took off at the drop of the green
flag in the contest and paced the field for the first 27 circuits.
At the checkers, Devin was in the second spot to bring home a
strong runner-up performance behind only victor Eric Spangler!

in Silver Dollar Nationals & Davenport!
27, 2022) Devin Moran and the #9 team trekked out west
from July 21-26 for a flurry of high-profile races at I-80 Speedway
in Greenwood, Nebraska, Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa, and Davenport
Speedway in Davenport, Iowa. Things kicked off at I-80 Speedway
on Thursday with the $12,000 to win 'Dirt Track Bank Go 50,' which
was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Devin
earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session, won his
heat race, but later slipped back to finish eleventh in the 50-lap
feature. On Friday night in preliminary action for the 'Silver
Dollar Nationals,' Devin ran second in his first heat race of
the evening before advancing to seventh in the second round. After
Saturday's $53,000 to win headliner pushed back to Sunday due
to heavy rain showers, the Dresden, Ohio star blasted past ten
competitors during the 80-lap 'Silver Dollar Nationals' to land
on the podium in third behind only victor Jonathan Davenport and
runner-up Tim McCreadie!
The dirt-slinging action quickly shifted to Boone on Monday evening
for the 'Hawkeye 50,' which boasted a $20,000 payday and was sanctioned
by the World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series. Devin
posted the second quickest time in Group A during qualifying before
winning his heat race and finishing sixth in the final rundown
of the 50-lapper. The stint out west then wrapped up on Tuesday
at Davenport, as the MARS Racing Series presided over a $10,000
to win throwdown. Devin set a New Track Record during the qualifying
session, won his heat race, and eventually netted a strong third
place podium effort in the 50-lap main event behind only 'Hoker
50' race winner Hudson O'Neal and runner-up Bobby Pierce! Complete

Moran Wins Birthday
Race at Oakshade for $10,000 Payday!
18, 2022) The Tye Twarog Racing (TTR) team embarked on
a busy week on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour from July 13-17
in five scheduled events in the states of Indiana, Illinois, and
Ohio. The stretch on the "Hell Tour" was headlined by
a $10,000 triumph in the annual 'Birthday Race' on Saturday at
Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio. Devin Moran stopped the clock
third quickest in his group during qualifying prior to securing
a victory in his heat race. After drawing the third starting spot
before the 40-lap main event, Devin grabbed the point on lap 10
and never looked back to record the five-figure payday ahead of
a top five that included runner-up Rusty Schlenk, Bobby Pierce,
Payton Freeman, and Devin Shiels!
In other action during the busy week, Devin won his heat race
and led the first 27 circuits on Wednesday at Montpelier Motor
Speedway in Montpelier, Indiana before settling for a strong runner-up
performance behind only $5,000 victor Bobby Pierce. At Shadyhill
Speedway in Medaryville, Indiana on Thursday in a similar $5,000
to win program, Devin placed second in his loaded heat race and
later netted a solid eighth place effort in the 40-lapper. The
other two scheduled Summer Nationals battles on Friday at Farmer
City (IL) Raceway and on Sunday at Wayne County (OH) Speedway

Devin Moran Finishes
Second at Atomic & Brushcreek!
11, 2022) Devin Moran and the #9 Tye Twarog Racing team
ventured south to a pair of Buckeye State ovals over the July
9-10 weekend and walked way with a couple of strong podium efforts!
On Saturday night at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, Devin timed
in third fastest overall during the qualifying session before
placing second in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside
of the second row in the $3,000 to win headliner, Devin worked
his way up to second during the 25-lapper to grab a runner-up
performance behind only victor Josh Rice.
At Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio on Sunday,
the Dresden, Ohio ace won his heat race and later started the
annual '4B4EVER 40' from the inside of the third row. Gunning
for the $10,000 top prize in the Jackie Boggs Tribute race, Devin
advanced to second and traded several slidejobs for the lead in
the waning circuits of the 40-lap feature before settling for
another runner-up showing behind only winner Zack Dohm. Complete

in Freedom 60 Prelim; Nose Damage in Finale
4, 2022) The Tye Twarog Racing (TTR) team headed to a
trio of different dirt facilities from June 30-July 3 for four
straight nights of racing action with the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series in the states of Kentucky and Ohio. Things kicked
off on Thursday night at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky
with the $15,000 to win 'Ralph Latham Memorial.' Devin Moran laid
down the fastest lap in Group B during qualifying before running
second in his heat race and sixth in the 60-lap feature event.
At Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Friday evening,
a $12,000 top prize was up for grabs in the annual running of
the 'Independence 50.' Devin once again knocked down the quickest
time in Group B during the qualifying session and won his heat
ace prior to slipping back to eighth in the final rundown of the
rain-shortened main event.
Next up was a visit to the nearby Muskingum County Speedway near
Zanesville, Ohio over the weekend for the 'Freedom 60.' On Saturday
during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series preliminary action, Devin
stopped the clock third quickest overall during the time trial
session and later led the first circuit of his $3,000 to win qualifying
feature before placing a strong runner-up behind only victor Tyler
Erb. With a whopping $30,000 payday up for grabs on Sunday at
his home track, Devin started sixth on the feature grid, but unfortunately
suffered heavy nose damage following a bout with the cushion on
lap 17 and was forced to retire in the twenty-fourth position.

Atomic 100 Opener for Sixth Win!!
26, 2022) Following a weekend off, Devin Moran picked
up his sixth feature win of the 2022 campaign on Friday night,
June 24 in the 'Atomic 100' opener at Atomic Speedway in Alma,
Ohio! Devin earned Fast Time honors during Valvoline Iron-Man
Late Model Series qualifying prior to securing a heat race triumph.
The Dresden, Ohio star then led from flag-to-flag in the 30-lap
feature to bag the $5,000 winner's check ahead of a top five that
included runner-up Josh Rice, Jacob Hawkins, R.J. Conley, and
On Saturday evening, June 25, the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model
Series presided over the 'Atomic 100' grand finale, which boasted
a $10,000 windfall. Devin once again set Fast Time during the
qualifying session and later ran second in his stacked heat race.
After starting fourth on the feature grid in the 40-lap main event,
Devin unfortunately suffered a flat right rear tire and was forced
to make his way from the back of the pack. At the checkers, he
had climbed back inside of the top ten to salvage an eighth place

Moran Lands on Podium
in Eldora Million for $50,000!
12, 2022) The most lucrative stretch of Super Late Model
racing during the year took place from June 8-11 at the famed
Eldora Speedway and Devin Moran was in the pit area at the Rossburg,
Ohio facility to compete in both the 'Eldora Million' and the
'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Following a total washout on Wednesday
night, the entire 'Eldora Million' extravaganza was held on Thursday
at the 1/2-mile oval. During the course of the daytime preliminary
event, which shelled out a $12,000 paycheck, Devin won his heat
race before finishing fourth in the 25-lap feature behind only
winner Chris Ferguson, Chris Madden, and Mike Marlar. In the nightcap
that boasted a whopping $1,002,022 top prize, Devin won his heat
race once again prior to bagging an impressive third place podium
effort in the 101-lap headliner behind only victor Jonathan Davenport
and runner-up Chris Madden!
When the weekend rolled around at the "Big
E," all focus in the pit area and in our sport quickly turned
to the annual running of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' In the $12,000
to win preliminary show on Friday evening, Devin won his heat
race and later rolled off from the outside of the front row in
the 25-lap sprint, which was pushed back to Saturday afternoon
due to inclement weather. The Dresden, Ohio star then led laps
12-18 until a restart dropped him to third at the checkers behind
only Brandon Overton and Ricky Thornton, Jr. Later in the evening
in the $128,000 to win 'Dirt Late Model Dream,' Devin placed fourth
in his heat race and relied on a high point provisional to gain
access into the 100-lap main event. Unfortunately, Mother Nature
swooped in once again and postponed the race after only 14 circuits

WVMS for $15,000 Triumph!!
5, 2022) Dresden, Ohio star Devin Moran racked up his
fifth feature win of the 2022 campaign on Friday night, June 3
in the 'Historic 100' opener at the sprawling West Virginia Motor
Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia! Devin earned Fast Time
honors overall during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying
prior to securing a victory in his heat race. He then led the
first eight circuits of the 30-lap feature before regaining the
point for good on lap 24. The popular driver known as the "Mailman"
beat Jonathan Davenport, Gregg Satterlee, Ricky Thornton, Jr.,
and Earl Pearson, Jr. to the checkered flag to bag the $15,000

Moran Advances to
Fifth in $20k Special at Sharon Speedway
30, 2022) Devin Moran and the Tye Twarog Racing (TTR)
team were in action over the Memorial Day holiday weekend at both
Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg,
Ohio on May 28-29. In Sharon's $20,000 to win World of Outlaws
Case Construction Late Model Series show on Saturday night, Devin
ran second in his heat race prior to advancing three spots during
the 60-lap feature to land inside of the top five. The Dresden,
Ohio star finished in the fifth spot behind only victor Ryan Gustin,
Shane Clanton, Josh Richards, and Dennis Erb, Jr.
At Eldora Speedway on Sunday evening, a $5,000 top prize was
up for grabs in the annual running of the 'Johnny Appleseed Classic.'
Devin placed third in his loaded heat race and later started the
30-lap main event from the inside of the fourth row. On the rugged
racing surface, Devin unfortunately ran into problems and suffered
damage to his Longhorn Chassis, which dropped him to seventeenth
in the final finishing order of the attrition-filled contest.

Hilltop Speedway for $10,000 Triumph!!
22, 2022) Following a seventeenth place showing on Wednesday
night in a $22,022 to win Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series
special at Marshalltown (IA) Speedway, Devin Moran and his #9
Tye Twarog Racing (TTR) team landed in victory lane for the fourth
time in 2022 on Friday evening, May 20 at Hilltop Speedway in
Millersburg, Ohio! Devin qualified well and later won the dash
to start on the pole of the unsanctioned 'Jeff Norris Memorial.'
The Dresden, Ohio standout then led all forty circuits in the
contest to land the $10,000 payday over a top five that included
runner-up Josh Rice, Freddie Carpenter, Zack Dohm, and Greg Oakes!
Next up on the schedule was slated to be the 40th edition of
the 'Jim Dunn Memorial' on Saturday, May 21 at Muskingum County
Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio. Unfortunately, the $10,000 to win
Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series event was nixed by heavy

Moran Earns Trio
of Top Tens During Hectic Illinois Speedweek
15, 2022) The #9 team found themselves in dirt-slinging
action in the Land of Lincoln from May 11-14 in four high-profile
Super Late Model events during "Illinois Speedweek."
Up first was a pair of Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series
battles at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois and Lincoln
Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois - each of which shelled out a $22,022
winner's check. In the opener at Spoon River on Wednesday, Devin
Moran ran fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main before
advancing past sixteen competitors during the 50-lap feature en
route to a solid seventh place showing. At Lincoln on Thursday
night, Devin finished fourth in his B-Main and won his B-Main
prior to blasting past ten racecars in the 50-lapper on his way
to a tenth place effort.
Next up for Tye Twarog Racing (TTR) was trips to
Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway
in Fairbury, Illinois over the weekend for a pair of MARS Racing
Series tilts. On Friday in a $15,000 to win throwdown at Farmer
City, Devin placed second in his stacked heat race before starting
and finishing seventh in the 47-lap headliner. In the $30,000
to win MARS grand finale at FALS on Saturday evening, Devin once
again finished second in his heat race prior to placing eleventh

in Outlaw Invasion Finale; Battles Back to WVMS Podium
25, 2022) The #9 TTR team was ultra-busy from April 22-24,
as Devin Moran competed in a trio of high-profile races in the
states of Ohio and West Virginia. On Friday night in the 'Outlaw
Invasion' opener at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, Devin stopped
the clock quickest in Group A during World of Outlaws Case Construction
Late Model Series qualifying before winning his heat race and
slipping back to eighth at the conclusion of the $10,000 to win
headliner. In Saturday's $15,000 to win 'Outlaw Invasion' finale,
Devin once again qualified well and secured a heat race triumph
before knocking down a strong fifth place showing in the 50-lapper
behind only victor Brandon Sheppard, Dennis Erb, Jr., Max Blair,
and Gordy Gundaker!
The action then quickly shifted to the sprawling West Virginia
Motor Speedway on Sunday for an unsanctioned throwdown at the
Mineral Wells, West Virginia facility, which boasted a $10,000
top prize. Devin earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying
session, but unfortunately hit the wall hard in his heat race
while leading. The Dresden, Ohio ace and his crew made quick repairs
to their Longhorn Chassis and rolled off from the inside of the
sixth row in the 25-lap main event. At the checkers, Devin had
vaulted all the way up to third to finish on the podium behind
only race winner Max Blair and runner-up Ryan Montgomery! Complete
